While the bar may seem appealing from the exterior , what I encountered behind its walls was disturbing and far below any standard .

From the moment I crossed the threshold, it was evident that cleanliness was not a priority at this venue. The floorboards were filthy, and a overpowering stench of old alcohol and dirty bathrooms filled the entire establishment . Reeking of a mixture of urine , a rotting odor and sickness . The counter , which should be the focal point of any pub, was cluttered with dirty glasses and trash that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks . The restroom was in even worse condition — clogged , with a cracked flush mechanism and walls covered in what I can only assume was fecal matter .
It wasn’t just a isolated occurrence either. From reading other reviews and chatting with the community, it seems that the state of cleanliness (or lack thereof) at Masterson’s is a recurring complaint. Many guests have reported observing cockroaches darting across the bar area and proof of vermin in the adjoining rooms.
